Categories of Nominees

- Have a diploma or degree from an eligible institution.
- Secure a job offer from an Ontario employer in a managerial, professional, or technical occupation as per the National Occupational Classification (NOC).
- Ensure your employer is pre-screened and approved by Opportunities Ontario.
- International Masters and PhD Graduates
If you hold a Masters or PhD degree, this category might be the right fit for you. Here are the eligibility criteria:
- Apply within two years of earning your degree.
- Reside in Ontario with legal status in Canada and have lived in Ontario for at least one cumulative year in the past two years.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English or French.
- Have no plans for further studies in Ontario.
Ontario’s Express Entry Streams
The following streams operate through the federal government’s Express Entry System. To qualify, you must have an Express Entry profile and receive a notification of interest from Ontario.
